The simple answer is that it varies.
Some people just need to listen once.
But Some people may need to listen to the same recording for many days or weeks for the effects to become apparent.
Usually everyone will need a refresher listen every once in a while.
They last about 15 minutes or less. The have three parts, an introduction (or as we like to say in the hypnosis coffee room, an induction), a main subject and then and outro that helps you transition to a fully awake and alert state.
